Description
The Professional Conference Organisation (PCO) division of a well-known global events agency is growing and looking for a new Project Manager to join their team.The Role:
This role is ideal for true Event Professional who is an expert in the full lifecycle of a PCO and can be a true leader in end to end conferencing projects.
- You’ll play a pivotal role in the successful planning and delivery of large-scale conferences, congresses, trade shows, and association events around Australia.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery of large conferences and corporate events (from planning through to on-site execution and post-event wrap-up)
- Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead your project teams by delegating tasks effectively, provide guidance and support, and lead by example to ensure successful delivery
- Oversee budgets, timelines, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Lead client relationships to ensure outstanding service delivery
You’re a seasoned events professional with a strong customer focus and a passion for delivering seamless event experiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment, are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and take pride in producing high-quality work.
- Minimum 5 years experience in events within a PCO or association environment (in-house or agency)
- Demonstrated ability to end to end manage large conferences or complex multi-day events
- Hands-on experience with EventsAIR will be very highly regarded
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and project priorities effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Tertiary qualification in events, business, marketing, or related field desirable
- Flexibility to work extended hours and travel when required
- $85K-$95K plus super, negotiable pending experience
- Hybrid working model – Brisbane office with 2 days WFH each week
